Kristina Martin, MPT, OCS, Cert. MDT, CLWT
~ Physical Therapist
Kristina received her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science with Honors in 2000, and completed a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2001, both from the University of Florida. She later completed the transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 2019. Kristina is a south Florida native and has been a part of the physical therapy team at Boca Raton Orthopaedic Group since 2003. She is currently our director of the Physical and Occupational Therapy Departments. Over the last several years, Kristina has become Board Certified in Orthopaedics (OCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, credentialed in the McKenzie Method (Cert MDT), and a certified lymphedema therapist (CLWT) through the International Lymphedema and Wound Care Training Institute. Additionally, Kristina is serving an appointment on the Specialization Academy of Content Experts for the orthopaedic board certification examination and serves as an active reviewer for several peer reviewed journals. Kristina is active in the education of the next generation of physical therapists as a clinical instructor for physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students, and she is adjunct faculty at Nova Southeastern University. Kristina also serves as our site coordinator of graduate student clinical education. In her free time, Kristina enjoys spending time with family, exercising, and enjoying the Florida outdoors.
Cameron Gordon, MPT, OCS
~ Physical Therapist
Cameron received his Bachelor of Physical Education degree with a Minor in Kinesiology from Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario in 2002. Cameron graduated from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY in 2006 with a Masters of Physical Therapy degree. In 2019 Cameron received his transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Nova Southeastern University. Cameron has spent his career as a Physical Therapist working in an outpatient orthopedic setting since 2006. He has been part of our physical therapy team since 2009. In 2014, Cameron became Board Certified in Orthopaedics (OCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Areas of clinical interest include running analysis and functional movement analysis. Cameron is active in mentoring students in a local undergraduate program as well as acting as a clinical instructor for physical therapy doctorate students. Cameron serves as co-coordinator of undergraduate clinical education.
Nicholas Smith, DPT, CSCS
~ Physical Therapist
Nicholas Smith graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern University in 2016 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (DPT). Upon graduating he was named the student of the year for the College of Healthcare Science and was awarded the Chancellor’s Award, given to the student who best exemplifies the characteristics of a fine physical therapist. In 2019, Nicholas became Board Certified in Orthopaedics (OCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Nicholas is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Nicholas is a Florida native and is fluent in Spanish. In addition to treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions in the clinic, Nicholas also serves as one of our two site coordinatorsfor undergraduate clinical education, is a clinical instructor for graduate level physical therapy students and physical therapy assistant students, and is an adjunct faculty member for the Physical Therapy department at Nova Southeastern University.When not in the clinic, Nicholas lives in Plantation with his wife and three dog where he enjoys cooking, relaxing in the pool, and riding his Peloton bike.
Kristin Helsher Ercoliani, OTR/L, CHT
~ Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist
Kristin Helsher Ercoliani completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy with honors from Quinnipiac University in 1991. Additionally, she has a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine which she completed in 1987. Kristin specializes in working with hand and upper extremity patients and received her Hand Therapy Certification (CHT) in 1996. She has been an employee at Boca Raton Orthopedic Group since 2004, and has lived in Florida since 1999. Kristin has worked as an adjunct instructor at Quinnipiac College teaching hand splinting, has lectured at American Occupational Therapy Association conferences on splinting of the hand, and has co-authored an article on Dupuytren’s disease. Kristin currently serves as our clinical instructor for occupational therapy & occupational therapy assistant students and is an active member of the American Society of Hand Therapists.
Jasmin Kadribasic, PTA, CKTP, FMSC
~ Physical Therapist Assistant
Jasmin is a 2008 graduate of the Physical Therapist Assistant program at South University. Jasmin joined Boca Raton Orthopaedic Group in 2009 after completing his clinical internship at our facility. Jasmin is an integral part of the therapy team, working closely with the physical therapists to provide exceptional treatment towards patients’ goals. Jasmin has received advanced training in the McKenzie Method and has achieved certification in Kinesiotaping (CKTP). He is a guest lecturer on Kinesiotaping at South University and he works as a clinical instructor for physical therapy assistant students from multiple universities. Jasmin also holds the Functional Movement Systems Level 1 certification (FMSC).
Katie Rodriguez DPT, ATC
~ Physical Therapist
Katie received her Bachelors of Science degree in Athletic Training in 2009, and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree (DPT) in 2012, both from Nova Southeastern University. In 2010, she became a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) through the Board of Certification. Katie has also become certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (cert MDT). Katie has spent her career as a Physical Therapist working in an outpatient orthopedic setting since 2012. She has been part of our physical therapy team since 2016. She serves as a clinical instructor for students in entry-level doctoral physical therapy programs and physical therapy assistant programs. When she is not in the clinic Katie enjoys spending her free time with her family, working out, or going to the beach.
